Reservation Policies
Reservations are highly recommended for indoor seating. Standard indoor reservations are free and can be made online for a two-hour time slot. Indoor reservations are limited to six (6) guests total. This includes guests under 21 and those not consuming wine.

Reservations for between six (6) and (10) guests can be made for our speakeasy Wine Library for a two-hour time slot. Note that all guests must be 21+ for this space and physically able to navigate a narrow spiral staircase to access the seating area.

All outdoor seating is first-come first-serve and reservations are not available for any outside seating.

Other Stuff

Food Offerings
We are pleased to offer a selection of gourmet sandwiches, cheese, and charcuterie to pair with our wines. Outside food is always welcome also.

Group Visits
For parties larger than six (6) persons please contact us by email via contact@waterfordwinereserve.com to make arrangements.

Outside Alcohol
In accordance with VA Alcohol Beverage Control laws, alcoholic beverages other than those purchased at the Wine Reserve are NOT allowed on the property. Individuals or groups that don’t comply with this policy will be asked to leave.

Children
Children under the supervision of a responsible adult are welcome at the Wine Reserve. Sorry, children are not permitted in the Wine Library speakeasy space.

Pets
Friendly pets are welcome at the Wine Reserve (but not inside the itty bity tasting room). There’s plenty of room on our deck and in the grassy areas of the property for your furry friends. Please remember to clean up after your pet.

Sampling Wine / Tastings
We have a pretty darn tiny tasting bar which isn’t well-equipped for guided tastings. Fear not, in addition to glass and bottle sales we do offer rotating self-guided tasting flights featuring six pre-determined wines for $20.

Our wine flights, known as Wine Lab, are made to order and offered for you to enjoy at your own pace. We have a mixed offering of six wines as well as vertical tasting options. Informational cards describing each wine are provided.

We are excited to offer guided tastings with advance notice. Guided tastings are subject to availability and may vary day-by-day based on capacity. Contact us prior to your arrival if interested in guided tastings. Guided tastings include five wines presented one at a time by staff members.

(We are always happy to pour a complimentary sample of our wine before you commit to a glass/botte.)

Smoking
We are a smoke-free property. Please refrain from smoking, vaping, and whatever the kids are doing these days while in the tasting room and on the outdoor grounds of the property.

Online Orders / Pickup
Online orders for pickup continue to be available. Any orders or wine club pickups can be collected during normal operating hours. Feel free to email via contact@waterfordwinereserve.com for any requests outside our regular business hours.

Wine Flights
We do offer self-guided tasting flights which allow you to enjoy six wines at your own pace and from the comfort of your private seating location.

Premium Reservations

Wine Library Reservations
Private groups of up to 10 can book in our speakeasy style Wine Library. We can also provided guided tastings from the bottle in this space. The Wine Library is by reservation only and more information can be found here.
