Background on the Wine:
So the last time we took fruit and gave it the ol’ stainless whirl, we ended up with the massively popular Steel Magnolia. Seeking to try the same approach and timing on a new grape we were able to procure Sauvignon Blanc from Bluemont, VA. Within days of bottling it was literally already making us fall in love. Now on the menu its fully ready to refresh your palates and delight you with a perfect blend of creamy herbaceous with a hint of tropical fruit and lime.

More details on the process:
We are becoming fans of the steel edge to our white wines. Though oak has its place we like to create wines WE want to drink, and this great take on Virginia Sauv Blanc is no exception.

Background on the name:
We let our kids try to name some wines this last go around, and though we had to pass (for now) on “Dragon Blood”, we think Silver Lining is pretty cute and went with it.
