Background on the Wine:
We waited patiently to hit record and mix up our Gold Medal winning 2022 Petit Manseng in a fun way. We blended in late harvest Vidal Blanc, which ripened and sweetened on the vine to create this new twist on our fruit that is playful without being too sweet.

More details on the process:
We had tried Petit Manseng in many styles but wanted to keep the presentation of the fruit as dry as possible. Every now and then you want something a bit sweeter and once every two years one wine is created for that niche. This is our first sweeter offering since we released 2020 Home Sweet Home.

Background on the name:
The name “Mixtape” is based on our love of mixing and matching songs off the radio in the 80’s and 90’s, and the label compliments our tastes and cassette artwork in the tasting room.
